The Spring Flute Festival in 2009 will be a one-day event. The location will be the Garden Valley Park in Garden Valley, California, in the beautiful forested foothills northeast of Sacramento.

Two-Time Grammy winner and Emyy Nominee, Mary Youngblood, and Arts Therapist, Steve Branco, will be giving a workshop called Music, Healing, and the Native American Flute. The workshop will last for two hours and the starting time will provided later. ($65)

Mike Oitzman will presenting a Beginners Workshop, suitable for anyone starting their journey with the flute.

Join us at this special festival of flutes and fun! The side-effects of this fun are creating music, showing others how to make their own music, promoting Native American culture, and providing a place and time for some to sell and others to buy flutes, drums, and other items of Native American culture.
